The Gallery at 3517 West

Sunset is proud to present “With Voices Like Honey” a solo exhibit featuring

recent works by photographer LIZ HUSTON.

Huston creates new worlds through a lengthy photomontage mixed media process.  Included in this process are images captured through a pinhole camera.

The results are at once beautiful, haunting and surreal. The narrative hints at logic just beyond the mundane and familiar.

Huston, largely self-taught has been a professional photographer for nearly two decades.  After a long career photographing bands, actors, weddings and events she made the move into the realm of alternative and fine art photography.  She has published five books of photography, including “Sacred - New Orleans Funerary Grounds”.  Huston regularly exhibits work around the country.

Nestled inside the cozy Silver Lake gift and home décor store, Dustmuffin, is The Gallery at 3517 west sunset.  Showcasing multiple disciplines since its opening in June 2011, this intimate space already has a devoted following. Previous featured artists include Eva Armisen, Johnny Lieberman and Catherine Coan.
