• El Dorado Hills Area Foundation Grants 2026 (fundsforngos.org) — Nonprofits that serve El Dorado Hills residents can now apply for grants of up to $10,000 from the El Dorado Hills Area Foundation and Giving Circle, with applications due September 24. Eligible organizations must provide programs that include El Dorado Hills, be in good standing with state and federal regulators, and use funds for projects or services rather than fundraising events. 
• Regal's Dolly Parton benefit screenings will expand to Northern California (kcra.com) — Residents can catch special Dolly Parton benefit screenings at Regal El Dorado Hills from September 4-9, with all proceeds supporting her Imagination Library. The theater will show "Steel Magnolias" and "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas" for $9.25 tickets, joining a nationwide tribute following Parton's death.
• People & Places in the News—September 2026 (stylemg.com) — An El Dorado Hills student, Carter Mitchell, is among several locals awarded $2,500 SAFE Credit Union scholarships recognizing academic achievement and community involvement.
