• El Monte Receives Grant for Dodgers Dreamteam Youth Program (mynewsla.com) — El Monte families can look forward to expanded, low-cost youth baseball and softball at Lambert Park thanks to a new $24,840 Dodgers Dreamteam grant supporting about 180 kids this season. The funding will cover field upkeep, umpires, a coordinator, and provide uniforms, equipment, and coaching support, with registration details coming soon from the city’s Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department.
