The demo aims to prove Starfall can safely return up to 1,000 kilograms from orbit and even maintain Starlink telemetry through the usual reentry blackout, setting up direct competition with Varda’s smaller-return capsules.
   

• Another California Refinery Closure Will Threaten National and Global Economies (newswithviews.com) — El Segundo’s Chevron refinery is portrayed as a critical jet-fuel lifeline, supplying more than 40% of Southern California’s aviation fuel and recently suffering a fire that disrupted supplies.
