Police say an altercation at the victim's car preceded the shooting, and two young male suspects fled in a dark sedan as detectives continue their investigation.
• Suspect arrested in San Jose for 2025 murders of former El Cerrito, Fairfield high school football players (contracostaherald.com) — An 18-year-old former El Cerrito High School football player, Guardian Harper, was killed in a 2025 Bay Point shooting, and the man suspected in his death has now been arrested in San Jose. The same suspect is also charged in a separate Fairfield homicide and is being held without bail in Solano County, with a court appearance scheduled this week.
