The Art of Living Black 20th Anniversary Exhibition

Now celebrating its 20th anniversary, we look to some of the deeply resonating art presented in this annual tradition.

The Richmond Art Center is proud to host the 20th Anniversary Exhibition of The Art Of Living Black (TAOLB). This exhibition features emerging, mid-career and established artists of African descent from the San Francisco Bay Area. TAOLB is the only non-juried annual exhibition and art tour in the bay area to exclusively feature artists of African descent, providing a venue for showcasing local artists, giving the community an opportunity to purchase art in a variety of media directly from the artist, and to celebrate and share the Black experience through fine art. Gallery Hours: Tue – Sat, 10 am – 5 pm & Sun, noon – 5 pm Exhibitions are free and open to the public. Winter Exhibition January 12 – March 3, 2016 Reception: Saturday, February 6, 2 – 5 pm
