Early Voting Location In El Cerrito Eliminated This Year
The number of early voting sites has been scaled way back, from 8 in 2016 to just 3 this year. Here's the 2018 list.

CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA — Contra Costa County has drastically scaled back on the number of early voting locations for the November 2018 election. Two years ago there were 8 election sites around the county. This year, just 3.
The 2018 Early Voting Sites in Contra Costa County:
- Antioch Community Center, 4703 Lone Tree Way, Antioch
- Bay Hills Community Church, 4000 Klose Way, Richmond
- Walnut Creek City Hall, 1666 N. Main Street, Walnut Creek
Some residents are visiting early voting locations from two years ago, only to be disappointed.

Here are the hours for early voting:
- Thursday, November 1st and Friday, November 2nd – 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Saturday, November 3rd – 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Monday, November 5th – 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.
The ballot is very long, with many propositions and local issues. It's a good idea to prepare your sample ballot before going to the polls - whether early or on election day.
