All Clear At El Cerrito High School Following Bomb Threat
In addition to classes, all after school events were canceled.

EL CERRITO, CA — No bomb was found at El Cerrito High School on Wednesday after an online threat prompted school officials to evacuate students, teachers and staff from the campus.
Police completed their investigation at about 2:30 p.m., El Cerrito police Lt. Steve Bonini said.
"We're all clear and nothing was found," Bonini said.

At about 12:45 p.m., El Cerrito police announced that there was police activity near the campus and asked people to stay clear of the scene.
Shortly after that, West Contra Costa County Unified School District officials reported via Twitter that the school was the target of an "online" bomb threat and that the campus was to be evacuated and searched.

Bonini said Ashbury Avenue was closed between Central and Stockton avenues during the investigation, but has now reopened.
School district officials said that all after-school events remain canceled for Wednesday evening.
