Investigators Probe Richmond Homicide
The victim was taken by private vehicle to Kaiser, where he died.
A 26-year-old man was killed in a shooting in Richmond early Sunday morning, according to the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office.
The dispatch center was notified of a shooting around 1:45 a.m. in the area of Market Avenue and Fred Jackson Way.
The shooting victim was brought into Kaiser Medical Center in Richmond. He died at the hospital. His identity has not been released.
