Major BART Delays This Morning
BART commuters got hit by a one-two punch--an obstruction on the tracks, followed by police activity at a station.
Police activity at the Lafayette BART station is causing major delays for trains this morning, an agency dispatcher said.
BART trains were already delayed earlier in the morning by an obstruction on the tracks between the Walnut Creek and Lafayette stations.
The obstruction has since been removed, the dispatcher said.

The police activity at the Lafayette station at 3601 Deer Hill Road is causing delays in both the Pittsburg/Bay Point and San Francisco directions, according to the dispatcher.
