Man Gunned Down In Richmond Home

RICHMOND, CA — A man was fatally shot inside a home in Richmond early Thursday morning, police said.

Officers responded at 3:28 a.m. to a report of a shooting in the 500 block of 18th Street and arrived to find the victim with multiple gunshot wounds inside a home.

Paramedics attempted life-saving measures but the man succumbed to his injuries. His name is not yet being released.

No suspect information was immediately available in the case, but police said the shooting does not appear to be a random act of violence.
