Man Wanted In Richmond Shooting Flees To Georgia
He ran far, but he didn't get away. Police have arrested him in Atlanta.

CONTRA COSRA COUNTY, CA —Police in Atlanta, Georgia arrested a 41-year-old man on Thursday in connection with a triple shooting last month in North Richmond.
Contra Costa sheriff's deputies responded to a shooting on Jan. 22 in the 500 block of Market Street in Richmond and found three men suffering from gunshot wounds.
They began an investigation and identified Jermaine Lee Hicks as the suspect. The Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office filed charges against Hicks for attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon and authorities obtained an arrest warrant.

The FBI arrested Hicks without incident at a residence in Atlanta, according to the sheriff's office. He was booked into Fulton County Jail in Atlanta.
Hicks is currently awaiting extradition to Contra Costa County.
