Rep. DeSaulnier To Talk Immigration, Trump
He will hold town hall meetings in both Richmond and Danville.

RICHMOND, CA — Congressman Mark DeSaulnier (D-CA) will be hosting two town hall meetings in the East Bay, where he is slated to discuss immigration and the Trump Administration.
The first town hall is schedule in Richmond on August 5, where the congressman will talk about what he's witnessed at detention facilities during his two visits to the southern border. During the event, DeSaulnier will be joined by a panel of immigration experts. Additionally, legal resources and information about immigrant rights will be available in English and Spanish, according to his office. A translator will also be on hand during the event.
The 6 p.m. August 5 meeting in Richmond will be held at St. Marks Catholic Church, 159 Harbour Way S.

He will also host a Danville town hall. During that meeting, he will discuss conditions at the southern border, as well as work the House has been doing, and Congress's oversight of the Trump Administration.
The 6:30 p.m. August 8 meeting in Danville will be held at the Veterans Memorial Building, 115 E Prospect Ave.

DeSaulnier's 11th congressional district includes the majority of Contra Costa County.
