Two Suspects Arrested With Burglary Tools: Emeryville

One was arrested on Saturday and the second on Sunday.

EMERYVILLE, CA — Emeryville police stopped and arrested two bicyclists Saturday and Sunday for allegedly possessing burglary tools and a firearm.

At 6:09 a.m. Saturday, officers stopped a wanted suspect with an outstanding warrant in front of the Courtyard Marriott hotel at 5555 Shellmound St., police said.

The suspect allegedly had numerous burglary tools and was arrested, police said.

At 6:19 a.m. Sunday, police stopped another bicyclist for vehicle violations at 53rd and Hollis streets. The suspect allegedly had a loaded handgun and was arrested, police said.

The names of the suspects were not immediately released.
