Unprovoked El Cerrito Attack: Stranger Punches Man in Face

EL CERRITO, CA — A man found punching a stranger in the face in El Cerrito was arrested on Monday, police said.
At 12:22 p.m., officers with the El Cerrito Police Department responded to the 10200 block of San Pablo Avenue on a report of a man punching a person in the face.
Police said the attack was random and unprovoked.

Additional calls came in about the same suspect punching cars as he traveled up San Pablo Avenue, police said.
Police located the suspect a short time later, and he was taken into custody.
