ELK GROVE FOOD BANK RUN 4 HUNGER

Walk, Run or Jog to Fight Hunger! The 11th Annual Run 4 Hunger takes place on Saturday June 27, 2015 at Elk Grove Regional Park. This event benefits the Elk Grove Food Bank Services, our local nonprofit organization dedicated to helping over 4,500 individuals monthly by providing nutritious food and a safety-net of services and resources.

The run includes 5K and 10K courses that start in beautiful Elk Grove Regional Park and into surrounding neighborhoods. Featuring disposable chip timing for the 5K/10K race, age group awards, team awards, race shirts for all participants, a flat course and post run food and entertainment. For children 12 and under we offer 1/2 mile and 1/4 mile “Fun Runs”.

A portion of the proceeds from this run will go towards Elk Grove PATH (People Assisting The Homeless) , a nonprofit organization that assist the homeless in Elk Grove toward self-sufficiency and greater independence.
