• Arrest in Fatal Elk Grove Hit-and-Run (elkgrovenews.net) — Elk Grove readers should know police have arrested a 57-year-old Sacramento man in connection with a 2025 hit-and-run that fatally injured an 80-year-old Elk Grove woman crossing Splendor Lane at Lilypad Lane. He's being held in Sacramento County Jail on vehicular manslaughter and felony hit-and-run charges without bail, though investigators have not yet released the victim's name or investigative details.
