Man Allegedly Does Donuts in Car, Falls Asleep Until Cops Arrive

Marcus Jermaine Hargrove was arrested after he was allegedly found behind the wheel of a vehicle that had been reported to have been doing donuts.

Officers didn't exactly find a smoking gun when they responded to a disturbance call over the weekend, but they may have found some smoking tires.

Just after midnight on Sunday, Elk Grove Police received a call that someone was doing donuts in a vehicle in Elk Grove's Laguna West neighborhood, according to a crime log. When they arrived, officers found the same car described by the caller "parked with the lights on and the engine running," the crime log states.

In the driver's seat was 28-year-old Elk Grove resident Marcus Jermaine Hargrove, fast asleep, the department said.
