Public Safety & Community Appreciation Breakfast

In recognition of National Police Week, District Attorney Anne Marie Schubert will host the 16th Annual Public Safety & Community Appreciation Breakfast.

Continuing the tradition of the District Attorney’s Office, District Attorney Anne Marie Schubert invites members of our community to attend this annual event to recognize the effort and dedication of public safety members, public officials, community and business leaders, educators and all those who work tirelessly to protect the safety of our neighborhoods and families.

This year’s theme is “A Community Call to Action for the Safety of Our Children.” Children face vulnerabilities every day. The rise of social media has increased these risks and created new threats. The event will recognize the work already being done for children’s safety, and present new ideas on how the community can work together to further protect children whether they are at home, in their neighborhood, at school or online.

With the recent loss of fallen officers in Sacramento and Placer counties and across the nation, there will also be a special tribute honoring the fallen and their families for the ultimate sacrifice they have made on behalf of our community.

DA Schubert is joined by Sacramento County Sheriff Scott Jones, Sacramento Police Chief Sam Somers Jr., Sacramento County Chief Probation Officer Lee Seale, the Law Enforcement Chaplaincy, and a host of other local public safety and fire protection associations in organizing this event.
