277 Lose Power Amid Heat Wave In Encinitas
The outage is affecting the communities of Encinitas, Cardiff and Olivenhain.
ENCINITAS, CA – More than 250 customers are without power amid a heat wave Friday morning in Encinitas. San Diego Gas & Electric reported on its outage map that 277 customers are without power in the communities of Encinitas, Cardiff-by-the-Sea and Olivenhain.
The outage started at 7:02 a.m. SDG&E estimates the power will be restored by about 3 p.m.
Crews are working to repair SDG&E equipment, according to the utility company.
