5 More Things Encinitas Parents of Teens Need To Know

A family forum will be held at the San Dieguito Academy from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Oct. 29.

Please join us on Wednesday, Oct. 29 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at San Dieguito High School Academy, 800 Santa Fe Drive, Encinitas, for “Five MORE Things Parents of Teens Need to Know,” a family forum.

The event is in the Media Center. Hear from a panel of high school students, school counselor and a parenting specialist about five key elements teens wish their parents knew!

Students will reveal relevant up-to-date information from a recent anonymous school-wide survey about what students wish their parents knew to help students have an optimal high school experience.

High school counselor Duncan Brown will provide a perspective about the changing roles of parents of freshmen to seniors in high school, among other things.

Steve Cade, business executive and co-founder of BILY (Because I Love You), an Encinitas based parent support group, has worked with hundreds of parents specifically addressing behavioral issues and attitudes of their children and will discuss effective parenting tools.
