The North
Coast Symphony, under the direction of Daniel Swem, presents its season opener
concert, “A Journey Through Time,” on Sunday, March 9, 2014 at 2:30PM and on
Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 7:30PM at the Seacoast Community Church, 1050 Regal
Road, Encinitas, CA 92024, (760) 753-3003. The featured music spans four
distinct musical epochs: “Concerto for Two Violins in A Minor” by Antonio
Vivaldi with soloists Namrita Baru and Maya Ginsberg, “Symphony No 6,
Pastoral” by Ludwig van Beethoven, “The Tsar’s Bride” by Rimsky Korsakov and
“Quiet City” by Aaron Copeland with soloists Jason Ford and Kathryn Ringrose.
The suggested donation is $10 general, $8 seniors and students, and $25
