Assistance League of Rancho San Dieguito Outgoing President Receives Special Recognition
36th District State Senator Pat Bates Honors Outgoing Assistance League Rancho San Dieguito President Roberta Waterman

On June 17th Assistance League of Rancho San Dieguito held its June luncheon and installation of officers at Morgan Run Country Club. The presidential gavel was handed over to the new president, Lois Green/Carlsbad. The newly elected board members were sworn into office and will begin their duties this month.
The chapter’s outgoing President, Roberta Waterman, was honored for her leadership skills and community service. A California State Resolution was read and a plaque presented to Ms. Waterman by Donna Cleary from the office of the honorable State Senator, Patricia C. Bates 36th Senatorial District.
In August, volunteer members will have a busy summer collaborating with six other Assistance League chapters to provide back-to-school clothing and school supplies for 750 children at Camp Pendleton.

This fall, Operation School Bell, the chapter’s premier philanthropic program, will provide over 950 eligible north county school children with new back-to-school clothes and shoes, funded by proceeds from our Encinitas Thrift Shop, donations and grants.
