Encinitas: Basics Of Starting A New Business Demystified

Encinitas, CA – Entrepreneurs looking to start or expand a business can learn the basics (and then some) at an upcoming workshop on Tuesday, March 10 from 2 to 4:30 p.m. The workshop will be held at the City of Encinitas Community Meeting Center, 1140 Oakcrest Park Drive, and is free of charge.

Topics will cover business registration, permitting, legal business structure and marketing basics. The workshop is geared for home-based, online or brick-and-mortar businesses.
In addition, participants will meet representatives with the San Diego Law Library, North San Diego Small Business Development Center, Encinitas Chamber of Commerce, and the city's local Main Street associations to learn how these resources can assist with growing their business. City of Encinitas planning, land use, zoning and business registration professionals will also be on hand to guide attendees through the process of setting up a business in Encinitas.
