Encinitas: Heavy Rains Anticipated Tomorrow, Friday, January 29, 2021

In anticipation of a rainstorm that is expected tomorrow, Friday, January 29, the City is providing sand and bags to Encinitas residents. This is available to Encinitas residents only and is not available for commercial use. Pre-filled sandbags are available, while supplies last, at the Public Works facility located at 160 Calle Magdelena, Encinitas, CA 92024. Sand and bags, unfilled, are also available at Fire Station 3, located at 801 Orpheus Avenue, Encinitas, CA 92024. These flood preventative materials are available until the supplies on hand are depleted.

Please try to stay off the road as best as possible during heavy rains to avoid road hazards.
