Encinitas Upcoming Ramp Closure I-5 At La Costa Friday, February 5, 2021

There will be a ramp closure will begin Friday, February 5, at 9 p.m., and reopen on Monday, February 8, at 5 a.m. at the northbound I-5 off-ramp to La Costa Avenue. *Please note, construction schedules are subject to change.

A detour map for this upcoming ramp closure in the City of Encinitas can be seen in the attached graphic. These closures will allow crews to realign interchange ramps to accommodate two new Carpool/HOV Lanes, one in each direction of I-5.

This ramp closure is the sixth in a series of approximately 18 weekend ramp closures that will take place during the next year in Encinitas and Carlsbad.
