ENCINITAS, CA — Encinitas residents are flocking to retailers to purchase their $2 Powerball tickets with an approximate $1.9 billion prize on the line in Monday night's drawing.
To play, you'll need to purchase your ticket by 7 p.m. at more than 23,000 retail locations across the Golden State, according to the California Lottery.

The top California winning tickets, which matched five numbers minus the Powerball number, were worth $1,120,390 each and sold in Susanville, Encinitas and San Leandro.
Lottery winners in Saturday's draw purchased their winning match five tickets from a grocery store, a drug store and a gas station, according to the California lottery website.
