The Encinitas Lions Club does eye testing and provides eye glasses for needy children in Encinitas and Cardiff By The Sea.
The Encinitas Lions Club collects and recycles hearing aides, cartridges for printers, faxes & copiers, cell phones along with the eyeglasses. Our eyeglass donation drop off center is a yellow mailbox at Henry’s Market at the corner of El Camino Real and Encinitas Blvd in Encinitas. The Encinitas Lions Club recycles and donates over 10,000 pairs of used eyeglasses to third world countries anually.
Lions Clubs International. Our 1.3 million men and women in 200 countries and geographic areas conduct vision and health screenings, build parks, clinics, schools, houses, support eye hospitals, award scholarships, assist youth, provide help in time of disaster and much more. Join us in making our communities and the world better places to live. We welcome Lions from around the world to join us when visiting!

Our Signature event is the Blind Surf Event where Lions, Swamies Surf Club and San Diego Surf Academy team up to bring our blind guests to the beach for a day of fun, food & surfing!!!
Lions also paid to have the Audible Signals installed at several busy Encinitas street corners.
