Abstract Nature Photography with Bob Bretell. During this four-hour workshop, photographers are invited to depart from reality by using nothing but your creative eye and imagination. Explore the Garden with your camera like never before and transform ordinary objects of nature into works of art. Color Pencil and Watercolor Garden Journaling. Learn clever user-friendly ways to draw natural shapes form the Garden by combining watercolors, water-soluble pens and colored pencils. 5K Paw Walk. Once a year, San Diego Botanic Garden opens the gate to our furry friends and their families. Dogs are encouraged to bring their owners to enjoy the 5K walk as well as pet products, doggie treats, people food and other great items for dog lovers. The walk is limited to 2 dogs per person. Be prepared to be enthralled with the natural history of amphibians and reptiles including the physical features, classifications, feeding habits, myths and environmental status of snakes, lizards, frogs and more.
