Fireworks Near Encinitas July 4th 2020: Most Canceled, Some A Go

ENCINITAS, CA — Independence Day events across the country will not look the same this year, thanks to the coronavirus. Many cities and organizations decided to cancel their Fourth of July events, including at Legoland in Carlsbad, in Escondido, Oceanside, San Marcos, Del Mar and in San Diego with the cancellation of a live "Big Bay Boom" for 2020.

But throughout San Diego County, there are some live fireworks displays still set to go on — including in Vista in North County, Poway, Santee and El Cajon. Plus several communities are hosting stay-home, patriotic fun.
