Free Sandbags Available For Encinitas Residents
BREAKING: Weather officials said that three separate storms could bring San Diego County up to six straight days of rain.

ENCINITAS, CA – Weather officials are predicting Encinitas and the surrounding region could see its heaviest rains of the winter — maybe the heaviest in several years — starting Wednesday night and running through early next week.
To help residents and businesses prepare for the storms and prevent flood-related damage, the city of Encinitas is offering a place where people can pick up free sand and bags.
Empty bags and sand will be available for residents on a first come, first serve basis behind Fire Station 3 located at 801 Orpheus Avenue in Leucadia. Residents are asked to bring their own shovels.
