March For Our Lives Rally Planned In Encinitas
Thousands of San Diego County students walked out of class March 14 to push for gun reform. They will rally again on Saturday.
SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA – Various rallies will be held around San Diego County this Saturday as thousands of people protest gun violence. March For Our Lives events have been announced for Encinitas, Escondido and San Diego.
A little more than a week ago, tens of thousands of students across the country walked out of class as part of a nationwide effort to protest gun violence and push lawmakers to strengthen gun control laws. The walkout took place on the one-month anniversary of the tragic shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida.
There are three events taking place at 10 a.m. Saturday in San Diego County, according to the March for Our Lives website. Here are the locations:

- March For Our Lives-Encinitas: Swami's, 1298 S Coast Highway 101, Encinitas
