• Batiquitos Lagoon Kayak Cleanup & Fundraiser Event (businessdailynetwork.com) — Encinitas residents can kayak normally off-limits waters at Batiquitos Lagoon while helping clean up trash during a fundraiser weekend on October 3–4. Launches run multiple times each day from the south shore near the I-5/La Costa Avenue park-and-ride, with tandem kayaks available for adults and kids as young as six riding with a guardian.
