Rain Advisory Issued For Several North County Beaches

An advisory has been issued for all beaches in Del Mar, Solana Beach and Encinitas due to recent rainfall.

SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA – The San Diego County Department of Environmental Health has issued an advisory for all beaches in Del Mar, Solana Beach and Encinitas due to recent rainfall.

County officials warned that rain can significantly increase levels of bacteria in coastal water.

The department advises all residents to avoid swimming, surfing, diving and other aquatic activities for 72 hours after a rain storm.
