ENCINITAS, CA -- The San Diego County Sheriff's Department is asking for anyone looking to make a positive difference in their community to attend the next "Sheriff's Coffee with the Community" event, scheduled for next week.
The event, presented by the North Coastal Sheriff's Station, takes place from 8 am to 10 am Wednesday, Nov. 16 at the McDonald's at Encinitas Town Center, 1064 N El Camino Real, Encinitas.
"This gives the public a chance to chat with the Station's command staff, deputies and Crime Prevention Specialist in a casual setting and exchange ideas and concerns over a free cup of coffee," the Sheriff's Department said in a statement announcing the event.
