Ski, Snowboard Fans Invited to Trade In Gear at Hansen Surfboards' Annual Snow & Swap Sale Nov. 8 - 9

Ski and snowboard fans are invited to take advantage of Hansen Surfboards’ annual Snow & Swap Sale Nov. 8 and Nov. 9.

Which offers snow sports fans a chance to sell their gently used equipment, buy others’ gear and the latest ski and snowboard gear all in one spot.

Gently used gear and clothing will be accepted Saturday, November 1 through Friday, November 7. All items are evaluated for safety prior to registration, and no accessory items will be accepted.

If the item sells, the customer will receive the proceeds minus 20 percent, which goes to Hansen Surfboards to cover advertising costs.

“Our winter sports customers love this sale because it’s like a fine-tuned yard sale we host just for them, and we take care of all the work.

“We do the advertising, make sure all the equipment is safe and the clothing is in good condition, and we display it and sell it for them,” explained Josh Hansen. “It’s crazy to see some of the items people bring in to sell, especially when they have never been used or worn.”

In addition to the Snow & Swap Sale, the store, which is consistently recognized by the industry as one of the top retailers for buying the latest in ski and snowboard gear, is offering up to 50 percent off select models of last year’s new skis and snowboards, and new clothing and accessories such as gloves, goggles, hats and other items. Hansen Surfboards is also the only retailer in North County San Diego offering full service repair and rentals on site.

The store’s boardroom also remains fully stocked throughout the year with hundreds of new and used surfboards, surf accessories and experts to advise on the best surfboard for any ability.
