Small Earthquake Shakes Off San Diego County Coast
The quake was reported Wednesday afternoon. Did you feel it?
ENCINITAS, CA – A magnitude 2.6 earthquake shook off the coast of San Diego County Wednesday afternoon, the U.S. Geological Survey reported. The quake was recorded at 4:06 p.m. about 23 miles west-southwest of Encinitas.
The temblor was centered approximately:
- 23 miles west-southwest of Encinitas
- 23.6 miles west of Solana Beach
- 23.6 miles southwest of Carlsbad
- 24.2 miles west of Del Mar
- 27.3 miles southwest of Oceanside
