Sola Salon Studios Opens in Encinitas

Sola Salon Studios, the fastest growing salon franchise in the nation, recently opened its fourth San Diego-area location in Encinitas at 285 North El Camino Real.

At Sola individual salon studios are rented to stylists at prices similar to chair rentals at traditional salons. This alternative model aims to let stylists run their own business without the risks or challenges that can come from owning a conventional salon.

The 5,870-square-foot building in Encinitas includes 24 single studios that range in size from 105-square-feet to 155-square-feet, and four 230-square-foot double studios, large enough for two salon chairs. These can be rented to stylists, estheticians, nail technicians, massage therapists and other beauty professionals — each operating as independently licensed businesses. To express individuality, each professional has the ability to customize their space with distinct personal touches, including paint color, furniture, pictures, and music.

Every salon space comes standard with a high-end hydraulic chair and shampoo bowl, well-lit styling area with oversized mirrors, custom cabinetry, fixtures and styling stations, pull-out color drawers with abundant storage, retail display shelving for products, instant and endless hot water supply, oversized lockable glass and aluminum sliding entry doors to each studio, stylish waiting and common areas, keyless entry and security cameras.
