Swami’s Café Expands into New Encinitas

The restaurant now has locations west and east of I-5 in Encinitas.

The Beach Grass Café off El Camino Real and Encinitas Boulevard has been converted to a — both of which are owned by the same people who also helm Honey’s Bistro & Bakery.

Though ownership hasn’t changed, the look certainly has. The interior has been completely remodeled, including a much improved bar area that features several new large screen TVs. Happy hour specials will be offered Monday through Thursday from 4 p.m. to close 7 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m., with live music on the weekends. A few new beers have also been added on-tap, including Bear Republic's XP Pale Ale, and Black Market Brew from Temecula.

The menu is the same as the other Swami’s Café off South Coast Highway 101, including all of its fresh juices. And just like the other location, customers order at the register and fixes their own coffee at the do-it-yourself station.
