Mrs. Owl's Tutors is looking for new tutors in Encinitas who are interested in serving North County San Diego students!
We are looking for experienced tutors who are confident tutoring High School Math and Science!
Our focus is on creating an ENGAGING tutoring experience that supports students in their education while increasing their academic confidence.
We serve: Encinitas and Carlsbad as well as Solana Beach, Cardiff-by-the-Sea, and Rancho Santa Fe.

Requirements:
- Must have experience working with children and experience in the subject you are tutoring (either as student or teacher).
- Must be reliable and efficient. Must be able to interact with parents and show what you are working on with the student.
- Must be able to use technology to communicate with office and families.
- Must be able to interact positively and professionally with clients to provide a safe and fun learning environment.
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree required. Teaching credential preferred.
- Must be able to provide personal, reliable transportation to students’ homes.
Job Details:
- $28 per hour based on type of tutoring.
- Work will be done in student’s home.
- This is an independent contractor position for the 2015-2016 school year.
- A certain number of hours cannot be guaranteed.
- Work is based on tutor’s schedule, availability and experience, as well as client demand.
- Employees will need to pass a background check and show ability to work in the United States.
