U.S. Military Personnel, Families Admitted Free to San Diego Botanic Garden Through Labor Day

Free admission is being offered as part of the national Blue Star Museum program.

ENCINITAS, CA — San Diego Botanic Garden invites all active duty, National Guard and Reserve members of the U.S. Military and their families — card carrier plus five immediate family members — to take advantage of the final two weeks of the Blue Star Museum program.

As its way of saying thank you to the brave men and women of the U.S. Military, the 37-acre Garden located at 230 Quail Gardens Drive in Encinitas is offering free admission through Labor Day, Sept. 5, said Spokeswoman Lisa Reynolds.

Thanks to the generous support of a Garden member, Reynolds said, the San Diego Botanic Garden is able to participate in the Blue Star Museum program, a partnership among the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense and museums across the country.
