Zero Waste Shopping Workshop

All ages welcome to this no cost Sustainable Living workshop! Opportunity drawing, reusable bag arts and crafts, thrift store tips, tutorial

February 20, 2016 10AM-12PM

Zero Waste Shopping: San Diegans generate more waste than both the state and national average. Take action and be the change by rethinking your shopping habits. Learn how to successfully reduce your waste in our Zero Waste Shopping How-To workshop. While parents learn how to minimize trash, kids can enjoy arts and crafts by decorating reusable bags. Stick around for a tour of the community farm and an opportunity drawing for great prizes.

This no cost Sustainable Living workshop hosted by I Love A Clean San Diego, Healthy Day Partners and the City of Encinitas is held at the Compost Campus at Ocean Knoll Farm located on the 840 block of Bonita Drive behind Ocean Knoll Elementary School (901 Melba Road), Encinitas 92024.
