2 Cats Killed In Encino House Fire

A one-story home in Encino was engulfed in flames Tuesday evening, killing two pets.

ENCINO, CA — Firefighters knocked down a house fire in Encino Tuesday afternoon, but the two cats died in the blaze

A one-story home was engulfed in flames in the 5000 block of Haskell Avenue at 5:31 p.m. Tuesday. No people were hurt, but two cats died in the blaze, said Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Firefighters were able to contain the blaze to one home, and they knocked it down in 21 minutes.
