$20,000 Reward Offered for Arrest of Encino Home Invasion Suspects

A $20,000 reward was offered today for information leading to the identification and arrest of six suspects who beat and tied up a couple and their son during a December home-invasion robbery in Encino.

Officers were called about 9:30 p.m. on Dec. 6 to a home in the 18000 block of Erwin Street and found the victims, described as “an elderly couple and their son,” according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

“One of the victims was in the garage when six suspects approached him and forced him into the home,” police said. “While the victims were tied up, the suspects took money and jewelry from the home.”

Five of the suspects were described as men, with one described as an Armenian speaker of unknown descent, and one was described as a woman of unknown descent, police said.

Two of the men were armed with handguns and all of the suspects wore dark clothing, black ski masks and black gloves.
