Suspect Arrested In Break-In, Joyride At Kim Kardashian's $60M Home: Reports

HIDDEN HILLS, CA — A 27-year-old man was arrested after deputies said he burglarized a Hidden Hills mansion reportedly owned by Kim Kardashian and took a joyride in a vehicle from the property.

Deputies were called at about 3:45 p.m. Sunday to a home in the 24800 block of Long Valley Road after a man was seen putting items into a car, Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Sgt. J. Addington said.

Deputies surrounded the home and detained the man inside, Addington said. Investigators said he had also driven a vehicle belonging to the victim around the gated neighborhood without permission.

The man was detained on suspicion of burglary and taking a vehicle without the owner's consent, according to the Sheriff's Department. His name was not immediately released.

The property is a mansion reportedly owned by Kardashian, according to KTLA. Sheriff's officials did not identify Kardashian as the owner.

The California Post reported that the vehicle belonged to a member of Kardashian's staff, citing a source close to Kardashian.

Kardashian and her children have been staying at a nearby rental while the roughly $60 million property undergoes renovations. It did not appear that Kardashian was at the home when the alleged burglary occurred, according to the Post.

Sheriff's officials said the investigation remained ongoing.
