*FREE* COMMUNITY EVENT
Come and join SPIRIT SOUL AND FRIENDS for peaceful chanting and rock out kirtan on Friday, August 23, 2013, 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. (or later depending on the fun!) at the MAHARAJA CUISINE OF INDIA, 2437 Main Street, Ventura, CA (805-641-3644).
"Chanting and Kirtan For Peace" is a family-friendly event and it is FREE. Donations are accepted but never expected. Bring a friend, your whole family and/or your loved ones! No experience necessary! Some instruments will be provided and we welcome you to bring your favorite acoustic instrument, drum, hand percussion, smiles and voices.
An All-You-Can-Eat Vegetarian buffet will be set up in the banquet room where the kirtan will be conducted. Buffet price is $15.00 per person and will include:
- Vegetarian Appetizers
- Dahl
- Vegetable Pakoras
- Saag Paneer
- Paneer Masala
- Cauliflower/Potato dish
- Rice
- Naan Bread
- Dessert
- Chai Tea
(We may be adding more sumptuous dishes to the menu later)

IMPORTANT: Please understand that we do not charge for kirtan and that the $15.00 is for the buffet only. There should never be a charge for kirtan!
