Domestic Violence Call Turns Into Standoff In Reseda

Police responding to a domestic violence call in Reseda have now surrounded a home where a man has barricaded himself.

RESEDA, CA — A man was barricaded inside a Reseda residence Monday and keeping Los Angeles police at bay, authorities said.

It started with a domestic violence call at 11:10 p.m. Sunday in the 1700 block of Victory Boulevard, said Officer Irma Mota of the Los Angeles Police Department's Media Relations Section.

The suspect was possibly armed and indicated he was suicidal, Mota said. There are no hostages and there were not shots fired, she said.
