Join 4GOOD for a fantastic way to help our kids understand how important it is to give back to their community!!!

For an afternoon full of hands-on volunteer opportunities for ALL AGES.

4GOOD is proud to announce our second annual 4GOOD Family Day.  Join us as we volunteer together on the same afternoon, under one roof: Grandparents, parents and lots of kids.

Here are some of the great hands-on, kid-friendly activities you will be able to do:

• Create cards for service men and women over seas with Operation Gratitude


• Craft a friendship bracelet sponsored by our friends at the Zimmer Museum for Children’s Hospital LA


• Decorate placemats and Lunch Bags for our senior friends with Meals on Wheels sponsored by Sunnyside Preschool


• Make a fleece blanket for sick & needy children with Binky Patrol


• Assemble a pull toy for homeless animals with Animal Rescue Group ARME


• Sew a sweet animal pillow with our friends from Zookies to be donated to abused children


• Make your very own Change 4 Change Donation Box

 
The more activities the kids do, the bigger the reward.  Each child will have the opportunity to earn a free face painting or 4GOOD give-away.
 
DONT FORGET TO BRING WITH YOU the following items as we will be hosting a myriad of opportunities for families to bring & donate items from their homes, such as:

• Loose Change to donate to some great causes


• Gently-used Stuffed animals to donate to SAFE


• Gently-used plastic kids toys to donate to Second Chance Toys


• Canned goods for SOVA Food Bank


• Gently-used teen formal wear -prom dresses and suits - donated to A Place Called Home for under-served youth

 
NEW this year, we’ll feature: 

• Young 4GOODers doing Good!
  
  
  
  • Three local 4GOODers will sell their handmade products to raise money for CHLA as well as raising money to buy school supplies for local area schools through their own self-created Non-Profits.
  
  
  • Future 4GOODer Award -  
    
    
    
    • The award will recognize one young person, between the ages of 5-18 currently living in Los Angeles County, who’s gone above and beyond in their own community and held true to their vision to launch and sustain their own charitable effort.
    
    
    • The Future 4GOODer will be honored with a $500 donation to support their own charitable effort or nonprofit.

 Throughout the day, your family can enjoy:

• Affordable food from Taqueria Los Altenos, Big Mama’s and Papa’s Pizzeria in Studio City, Menchies Sherman Oaks, and Porch Pies (a favorite from last year) to feed the families

• Informational booths for non-profit organizations (such as Heal the Bay, Tree People & Zimmer Museum) as well as other companies including our sponsors Energy Upgrade of California, Sunnyside Preschool, and Join the Band
