This course is for YOU if you want their mind and heart to grow wiser, happier and more compassionate as they age.
I invite you to join me in a mutual exploration of mindful aging. Judith Viorst, the writer said, “Crones don’t wine.” There is a juiciness and ripening to aging like a fine, rich, soft, delicious wine. Let’s taste it together and celebrate life.
Most people assume that meditation if about stopping thoughts, getting rid of difficult emotions that are trapped in the mind. But it’s actually about seeing the thought clearly. Witnessing its coming and going.
Buddhist psychology stresses impermanence. “That we are going to get old, sick and die is certain. The time is uncertain. Now what do I do.”
The good news is that through mindfulness, we can transform our limited way of relating to the obvious truth, yet sometimes difficult-to-accept truth, of change and aging.
