Run for the Kids 5K/10K and Kid's Run

Irving B. Deutschman Foundation For Children’s Cancer Research announces the 2nd Annual 5K/10K  and Kid's Run.

Encino, April 1, 2013 Irving B. Deutschman Foundation For Children’s Cancer Research

is holding its second annual Run for the Kids 5k/10K and Kids Run, on May 18, 2013 at 8:00 am at Woodley Park, 6330 Woodley Avenue, Encino. Runners and walkers of all ages are welcome to attend the race which is being hosted to raise funds to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and St. Judes Children's Hospital. 

Ronald McDonald will arrive be there to  warm up the runners and start the race.  

The Irving B. Deutschman Foundation raises funds exclusively for charitable, scientific, and educational purposes towards the cure and treatment of childhood cancer.

“We are excited to be up and running again this year,” comments Richard L. Delson.  Over 200 participants are expected to attend this event. Participants can pick up their packets on Friday, May 17th at Sports Authority Elite at the Topanga Mall from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm.  Race Day packet pick-up begins at 6:30 am.  Registration forms can be found online at www.lgracemgt.com and online registration is available at www.active.com.   Awards ceremony to follow the race.  Awards are given to the first three finishers in each age division and all kids run participants.  Post-event celebration also includes a raffle.
